Terms of Use
1. Introduction
1.1 The anonymous company under the name "FOVERA PROSTASIA S.A." (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), based in Thessaloniki, 8th km Thessaloniki - N. Moudanion, 555 35 Pylaia, Tel: 2310 514 669, 2310 541 586, 2310 542 152 / Fax: 2310 542 155, email address info@foveraprostasia.gr, VAT number 998306716, Tax Office of Thessaloniki, GEMI Number 059107604000, has created and manages the present website www.foveraprostasia.gr (hereinafter referred to as the "Website") for the presentation of its business activities and the promotion of its products and services.
2. Scope of Application
2.1 These terms govern the use of the Website and its services by the visitor/user (hereinafter referred to as the "User"), as well as the processing of any personal data of the visitors. The User is invited to carefully read and accept these terms. In case of disagreement with any of the terms, the User must discontinue and refrain from browsing the Website and notify the administrator accordingly.
3. Liability - Security
3.1 The content of the Website is provided "as is." Every possible effort is made to ensure the security and accuracy of the content. However, the Company does not commit, guarantee, or assume any responsibility regarding the content and security of the Website. The User acknowledges that they use the posted content and the provided services at their own responsibility.
4. User Obligations
4.1 The User accepts and acknowledges all intellectual property rights owned or potentially owned by "FOVERA PROSTASIA S.A." (excluding specific third-party rights) regarding the form and content of the Website, which are protected by the respective provisions of Greek, European, and international law. Indicatively, these rights concern trademarks, distinctive features, photographs, texts, announcements, registered or unregistered.
4.2 The User undertakes not to infringe upon these rights in any way, as the use, copying, storage, reproduction, republication, transmission, issuance, download, storage, translation, and modification of any portion or the entirety of the Website's content and the services offered therein, without the prior written permission of the owner, are explicitly prohibited.
4.3 The User commits to making lawful and appropriate use of the Website, in compliance with Greek and European legislation.
4.4 The User acknowledges the international nature of the internet and undertakes to adhere to proper conduct (netiquette). In cases where the User is provided with the ability to publish or send any information, audiovisual material, text, link to another website, or any file readable/executable by a computer or other electronic device to the Company, the User is solely responsible for their content. It is reminded that the User must have the right to transmit the content, either based on the applicable legislation or any legal contractual relationship of the User. In any case, the content of the aforementioned elements is prohibited
4.4.1 It shall be unlawful, offensive, indecent, pornographic, threatening, defamatory, harassing, harmful to minors, or express national, racial, or other forms of discrimination.
4.4.2 It shall infringe intellectual or other proprietary rights of third parties, including trademarks, trade secrets, and patents.
4.4.3 It shall contain any viruses, malicious software or code (malware), self-executing advertisements (pop-ups), and unwanted mass correspondence (spam) that may cause temporary or permanent damage/malfunction to any hardware or software of computer, electronic, or smart devices, or cause delays, interferences, and disruptions to the operation of servers or any telecommunication network.
4.4.4 It shall contain false statements regarding the User's identity or impersonate any person (natural or legal).
4.4.5 It shall contain false, inaccurate, or intentionally incomplete information regarding the User's identity, capacity, personal data, and the purpose of their visit.
4.5 The User is obliged not to use the Website for any actions that could result in criminal prosecution or initiate any civil or administrative proceedings against the Company for acts that are indicative, inter alia, in the Penal Code, special criminal laws, legislation on the protection of personal data, telecommunications legislation, the European Convention on Human Rights, as well as the relevant legislation of the European Union, the National Telecommunications Commission, the Personal Data Protection Authority, and any other Public or Administrative Authority and Agency, as well as for actions that could infringe any right or other legal interest of the Company or a third party.
4.6 In case of illegal or contrary use of the Website's Terms of Use, the User shall be liable for compensating the Company for any damage arising from such use and shall immediately cease the infringement. The Company reserves the right to exercise any other lawful right it may have.
4.7 If any third party takes legal action against the Company or the administrators of the Website for infringement of any legal interest falling within the scope of the User's liability as defined in the Terms of Use, the Company retains the right to file counterclaims against the User. Along with any claims from the third party, the Company reserves the right to seek compensation from the User for non-compliance with the Terms of Use and for any legal consequences arising therefrom.
5. Registration - Newsletter - Curriculum Vitae Submission5.1 User registration is not required to browse the Website.
5.2 If desired, the User can register for the Company's newsletter by providing their email address. By sharing this address with the Company, the User accepts the Company's communication with them for promotional and advertising purposes. The Company undertakes not to disclose this address to third parties.
5.3 The User has the option to unsubscribe from the Company's newsletter at any time by notifying the Company of their intention. After such notification, the User's email address is deleted from all the Company's records within 5 working days.
5.4 Additionally, if desired, the User can click on the "Career Opportunities" link, fill out the relevant form with their contact information (name, surname, telephone, email address), and attach their curriculum vitae in digital format. The Company undertakes not to disclose the user's contact information to third parties. It also undertakes to delete the curriculum vitae after a period of six months from the date of submission, unless the user requests the retention of their curriculum vitae for a longer period by sending an email.
6. Protection of Personal Data
6.1 Legislative Framework
6.1.1 Processing of personal data is considered any action related to the collection, recording, organization, storage, modification, extraction, use, transmission, dissemination, or any other form of provision, correlation, or combination, interconnection, restriction, erasure, or destruction of personal data (hereinafter referred to as "Processing").
6.1.2 For the processing of User's personal data, the Company acts as the Data Controller, and such processing is carried out in accordance with the applicable Greek legislation. The Company declares full compliance with the provisions of the relevant Greek law (EU Regulation 679/2016 and current Greek legislation).
6.2 Data Provided Directly by the User
6.2.1 The Company processes the information provided by the User through the Website, whether through their registration for the Company's Newsletter, completion of the Contact Form, or submission of a curriculum vitae. Such information may include, but is not limited to, the User's full name, email address, telephone number, age, gender, and any other personally identifiable data derived from their curriculum vitae.
6.2.2 If the User disagrees with the use of their information for the promotion and advertising of the Company's services, they can indicate their objection during the completion of the aforementioned communication forms.
6.3 Data acquired through the use of cookies
6.3.1 The Website uses small files called cookies to assist us in customizing your experience. Cookies are small text files that contain information and are sent by the Website's management software and stored on the hard drive of the user's computer or in the storage space of each User's portable device. The transmission of these cookies occurs when you visit the Website. Session cookies do not remain on the User's computer after leaving the website or closing the browsing program. Persistent cookies are those that remain on the User's computer to allow recognition by the Website and facilitate navigation. Persistent cookies can be deleted by the User.
6.3.4 The use of cookies is technically necessary for the seamless completion of the User's connection to the Website. For this reason, before browsing the Website, the User is required to accept the storage of cookie files on their computer, in accordance with Article 5, Paragraph 3 of Directive 2002/58/EC, as transposed into Greek law.
6.3.5 The Company may use cookies for various purposes, including but not limited to:
(a) Conducting research for statistical purposes and/or improving the content and services of the Website, as well as assessing its effectiveness and capturing public opinion trends.
(b) Marketing purposes, such as measuring the effectiveness of advertisements on our Website, how visitors use it, and displaying advertisements related to the Company's website on other websites based on the User's previous visits.

6.3.6 The Company may use web beacons (also known as transparent GIF files, pixels, or action tags, web bugs). 6.4 Customer Data of the Company
6.4.1 The Company processes personal data of its customers for the purposes required by the execution of the contract and agreement between them.
6.4.2 The User provides their consent, explicitly agrees, and unreservedly accepts any processing action that the Company may undertake in the context of providing its Services to the User, including, but not limited to, representing the User and intervening in relevant procedures with public and tax authorities to safeguard and serve the User's financial, accounting, tax, and other related needs.
6.4.3 The User's personal data is retained throughout the duration of the contract with the Company and for two (2) years after its termination, unless a longer period is required under the applicable tax legislation. You may request the deletion of your personal data within a shorter timeframe, which we will comply with, provided it is permissible.
6.5 User's Consent

6.5.2 By accepting the Terms of Use and voluntarily providing the required personal data, the User gives their consent, explicitly agrees, and unreservedly accepts the processing of their personal data, which is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Use.
6.5.3 The User has the right to withdraw their consent for the processing of their data at any time. However, this withdrawal shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on their consent before the withdrawal, nor the further processing of the same data conducted under another legal basis, such as the fulfillment of a contract or the need to comply with a legal obligation to which the Company is subject.
6.6 Purpose of Processing
6.6.1 Each processing of personal data carried out by FOVERA PROSTASIA S.A. ("the Company") takes place for legitimate and lawful purposes related to the provision of the Services chosen by the User.
6.6.2 The User expressly declares and accepts that the personal data provided and disclosed to the Company, which are collected and processed by the Company, are relevant, appropriate, and no more than necessary for the aforementioned processing purposes.
6.6.3 The User's personal data are used exclusively either to serve their financial and tax needs or for internal use by the Company, or on behalf of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) if duly requested and obliged to do so. The data are also used to promote the Company's services. For example, Users' email addresses are used to send informational newsletters about the Company's services, as well as for communication with customers through social media platforms.
6.6.4 The Company undertakes not to use the User's personal data for purposes other than those stated herein without prior notification and, where required, their consent.
6.7 Right to Information, Access, and Objection
6.7.1 The User retains the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 of European Regulation 679/2016.
6.7.2 Specifically, the User has the right to be informed about the processing, to have access to the personal data concerning them, which have been or are being processed, and to object to the processing of their data, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 15-22 of European Regulation 679/2016, as well as the current Greek legislation. Regarding objections, the User may specifically request the correction, temporary non-use, restriction, transmission or non-transmission, or even the deletion of their personal data.
6.7.3 In order to exercise the rights granted to the User under the aforementioned provisions, it is necessary to contact the Company and provide written notice to the Data Protection Officer regarding the User's claims.

7.1 By using appropriate links within the Website, the possibility of accessing third-party websites is provided. The placement of these links is solely intended to facilitate User's navigation on the Internet. It does not imply acceptance or approval of the content of the websites linked. 8. Modification of Terms of Use
8.1 FOVERA PROSTASIA S.A. reserves the right to modify this text in writing and without justification at any time. Therefore, it is recommended that the User periodically checks the content of these terms and, if they continue to use the Website and its services, accepts the modified Terms of Use. Otherwise, they should refrain from using the services and inform the Company accordingly. In the event of total or partial invalidity or unenforceability of individual terms, the validity of the remaining terms remains unaffected.
9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
9.1 These Terms of Use, as well as any dispute or claim arising from or in connection with them, are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Greek law. It is explicitly agreed, consented to, and mutually accepted that the courts of Thessaloniki shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim that may arise between the Company and the User and is subject to these terms.
9.2 However, it should be noted that FOVERA PROSTASIA S.A. has a constant intention to amicably and extrajudicially resolve any disputes that may arise from the use, interpretation, and application of these Terms of Use. For this reason, if you, as a user/member, identify any legally or morally problematic element, information, or issue on the website, please promptly inform the website administrator at info@foveraprostasia.gr.
